“I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.”- Psalm 40:8

Church delight yourself in the Lord! It is our job to delight ourselves in doing the will of the Lord. What is the will of the Lord? What does God expect from us? We can see in the New Testament that we are to show love to all people. We are to love people even if they are not believers. The will of the Father for His people is to love God first and to love others just like you love yourself. God wants us to come and worship Him. When we delight ourselves in the Lord we are saying that we take His Holy Word (Bible) and put it to practice everyday. We follow the Bible and we delight ourselves to do right before the Father.

God wants His people to read His Word and pray everyday. God wants us to share Jesus, His Son, with everyone. God’s will is for everyone to come to Christ and to not suffer an eternal death. We know this is true because of the scripture found in John 3:1616For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God’s Word is not hard to follow! We as Christians make it difficult because we don’t want to do everything it says to do. Start today and make it everyday that you spend time in the Bible and spend time with God. God is relational and He wants us to spend time with Him. The same way you would spend time with your loved ones is the same way God wants to spend with you. God has placed a worshiping spirit in you. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you have come into the family of God. God places His love on the inside of you and He wants you to exhibit that same kind of Love to Him and to others.

Be Blessed,
