Matthew 13:23 (King James Version)

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Where’s the fruit!? This could be your question every time you give to someone or even give to your local church. You start to question how God is going to supply. The Bible never states that we are to ask where the supply is going to come from. If you look at the scriptures you find that God shall supply all your needs from His riches in Glory. Philippians 4:19 (King James Version) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

The Bible tells us to give. Jesus shows us that when you receive the seed into good ground is when you are the one who is hearing and understanding. You will bear good fruit and bring it forth.

For some it will be thirty fold, some sixty, and some an Hundredfold. When you arrive at the Hundredfold. It means you have received the Complete Productiveness of the Seed Sown. The word Hundredfold means complete productiveness of what was sown. But, there is a problem here. Why? Because, everyone who sows does not receive the complete productiveness of their seed sown. Why? Because of your mouth!

Many times we sow a seed, pray a prayer and then go out the door and say I hope God heard my prayer. We negate the very thing we were asking for because of doubt and unbelief. We don’t have any fruit because of what we say after we pray. We tend not to trust God.

I was thinking about the old commercial by the Wendy’s Hamburger company. There was an older woman on the commercial that would yell out” where’s the beef?” As I began to think about that statement, I got to thinking about how some Christians probably make this kind of statement. “Where’s the Fruit?” What I am about to say may offend some… Maybe one of the reasons why the fruit is not evident is that you have not held on long enough. You have not sown seed with faith. You have doubted in your heart. You have prayed and then you have gone crosswise with your words about your seed sown.

You need to take your seed sow it in good ground, water it with the Word of God and continue to praise the Lord until the seed produces a fruit. Some fruit trees that are from a seedling do not produce a fruit for the first 5 years. Some fruit grows in months and some in weeks. We have to be willing to wait upon the Lord. We need to take time and praise the Lord. God is going to provide greatly for you and for your household. Hold on by faith and look to the Lord as your provider. Remember if you do not sow seed then you are not going to get fruit. Remember you water your seeds with your mouth. We know this because Jesus spoke to the fig tree. He cursed it with His mouth. Jesus also brought life out of His mouth. He spoke to Lazarus who was dead and called Him forth. You too can start calling things forth. Call your fruit forth and watch what you speak and say. We can have what we say! Call forth the things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17)

Are you ready for your harvest? Are you ready for God to bless you? The requirement to receive is to give. Luke 6:38 (King James Version) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
