James 1:6

King James Version (KJV)

6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

With some Christians today, you never know what you are going to get. God does not want us up, then down. He does not want our faith wavering and He certainly does not want us to display His Son like a mean man. We are called peculiar but that means rare or even precious. We need to be precious and a blessing to everyone. Our faith needs to be rare and precious. We can’t continue to waver like the world. We shouldn’t be hot one minute and cold the next.

Some Christians are like a box of Chocolates you never know what you are going to get. Some are so nutty that they will say one thing and do the other. Some are like cream filling and its the kind that is awful to taste because of what’s inside them. Some are perfect and are always to be enjoyed.

Why is this? For some it’s because they are not grounded in the Word of God. For some it’s because they have been grounded in Man’s ideology. For some it’s that they love religion more than they love having a relationship.

People are looking for someone real and genuine. People are coming to churches today to hear about a genuine God. They are looking for a God that will  speak to them. They are looking for a real God. People are always looking for the real thing. What do they see when your at your job or shopping in the supermarkets? How does the world view you? What does your family see when they look at you? Does your family and the people you associate with see Jesus in you or are you like a box of Chocolates? Are you like a wave going up one moment and down the next or are you stable in your faith? Have faith in God! Keep your word up and the world out. Don’t be like a wave tossed… Be Blessed!
