John 17:20-22

King James Version (KJV)

20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

We are called to be one. Jesus is coming for His church. He did not say He was coming for churches. There is an expectation for all to work together. We might be separate in our congregations, our style of worship, the way we pray and even in our delivery of the Word, but we are still supposed to be one. Nothing should separate us!

When we work together and pray together we are actually fulfilling Matthew 18:18-20. When we work together we become the united front that the enemy can’t take down. Why? Because when 2 or 3 gather in His name He(Jesus) will be in the middle of it all.

So let’s put aside our own ideologies and start working together so that the Glory of the Lord will be seen in the earth! Be Blessed!
