Isaiah 41:10

King James Version (KJV)

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

This morning as I was reading Isaiah I had a good thought. I was thinking I would speak about this scripture in many parts. Like doing a series.

In this scripture we can see three words that are marked bold. FEAR THOU NOT! I believe it should have had an exclamation point at the end. Why? Because this is a commandment with the authority of God. As a Christian you do not have to walk in any form of fear. The Bible says, “fear not” and that is what we are supposed to do. There is 62 exact phrases fear not in the whole bible. There is also fear ye not, fear thou not…ETC. I would say that we are not supposed to fear!

I am doing an extensive study on fear. I have been at this for about 4 years now. In my past I have operated in this, felt this, experienced it in many forms. Fear is cancerous to your body, mind (soul) spirit. Fear is like a disease, once it gets a hold of you, it does not want to let go. Fear will keep you from loving others and walking in your authority. Fear will keep you from ministering the Gospel (Good News) to all people. Fear will cause you to mis-trust the Lord and His Word. Fear can encapsulate you to where you will not even step out of your house. Fear is a work of the enemy that no Christian has to participate in. Fear is a choice. Really it is. The Word of God says, God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of Love, Power and a Sound Mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) So is fear a choice? Absolutely!

God does not want us to operate in any form of fear. This is one of satan’s attacks. If he can get you off center, then he can tip you to his side of the tracks. His (satan) desire is to trap God’s people and to keep them from messing up his kingdom. Satan desires to keep you so full of fear that you will not be able to do anything God desires you to do. Satan brings fear. God brings love. What do you want? Get into the Word of God today and look at the blessings God has given to you. Put satan into his place and don’t take your foot off of his neck. If you want to get rid of fear then stop watching what your watching and stop listening to what your listening to. We sow with our eyes, ears and mouth. So watch what you put into your eyes and ears because it will come out of your mouth. Out of the abundance of your heart the mouth speaks Matthew 12:34.

Understand that you are to operate in the blessing not the curse. You are not to fear. You are supposed to be blessed. You are called blessed of the Lord. Why? Because you are the seed of Abraham! Amen! Be Blessed!
