Isaiah 41:10

King James Version (KJV)

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

The end of this verse is mighty! He will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness. Righteousness is morally right or justifiable; virtuous. Righteousness is God’s way of doing and being right. God will help you, strengthen you and uphold you in His righteousness. Even if you have done wrong God will still uphold you. That is why this verse is so powerful.

People often claim to lift you up in prayer, but if you do something bad or out of character they are the first to kick you while your down. God’s Word is not just for Him, rather it is for us to learn and behave like Him. We are to lift people up. We are to strengthen one another. We are to help one another. If we are going to say we are Christians then we should be Christ like in every way. After all we used to be old dirty sinners. We no longer are sinners but the Righteous.

God loves you so much that He says He will uphold you. He cares about you so much that He is willing to give you Jesus. He loves you so much that He made righteousness available to you through His son’s death. God does not want you to fail, but to succeed. God is on your side. If God is for you who can be against you? Since God can uphold you, His Word will also sustain you. Remember it is the Lord who has established you. Since He formed you at the beginning, what do you need to care about? Nothing! Because He who formed you understands you and knows how to care for you. Look to the Lord and let Him uphold you. Don’t try to do it on your own. The One who upholds is the one who is capable. Man will fail, but God will succeed!
