John 18:6

King James Version (KJV)

6As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

You have the authority to make a difference. Look at this scripture closely. When Jesus responded to the band of men and officers they went backward and fell to the ground. Jesus spoke with great authority. He spoke with so much authority that the men had to bow down. He did not have to speak mean or brash to make His authority known.

You don’t have to speak loud, mean or brash to make your authority known. You have the authority to make a difference in this world. What will you do with it? How are you making a difference? When the men bowed down they were showing honor. The name Jesus will cause the demons of hell to bow down. We can see here that Jesus’ answer caused humanity to bow down and I believe there is great power in the Name of Jesus. Asking Jesus to live in you will cause great authority to take place in your life. When you understand the authority that you have, you will begin to make a difference.

Take authority today and start living for Jesus. Make a difference. You don’t have to be a celebrity to make a difference. You just have to be you with Jesus on the inside, showing on the outside.

Pastor Phil Imagine the God who created all men, the God who breathed into Adams dust body before it was formed, The God who talked to Moses out of a flame in the desert. The God who knows all without learning and having to remember, The self existent one who just was. He who alone is the only Alpha and the only Omega! God in a body called flesh which he himself created…… this God, turning up and taking his seat in church sunday morning in your town my town…. I mean what would we say……….
