1 Corinthians 7:20

King James Version (KJV)

20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

What is your calling? What are you doing with the calling that God has given you?

God’s calling on your life is special. It is special because no one else can perform it. No one else can fulfill it. The calling is meant just for you. I observe people trying to do someone else’s calling, instead of their own, and they are so frustrated. Trying to perform and fulfill someone else’s calling is an impossible thing to do because it is not man’s calling but God’s calling. Stand in your calling! Pray the prayer of faith in your calling! Live your calling! Talk your calling! Remind yourself of the calling! Write your calling! God has not called you to do some other man’s calling, but the calling He has placed on your life. God’s calling is not worldly, but it will benefit you in the world. God’s calling on your life is for His purpose. The calling on your life will benefit the Kingdom of God and the people who you associate with.

Remember the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Stay firm and press forward. Don’t look on someone else’s calling, wishing and hoping and praying that God will give you the same. God has placed a call upon man but His calling is individualized. I can’t fulfill your calling and you can’t fulfill my calling. It is better to observe what God calls you to do and not to observe everyone else’s calling.

Following God is easy. It’s the distraction of man that makes life difficult. Pursue righteousness and continue to walk out your calling everyday!
