Hebrews 1:3

Amplified Bible (AMP)

He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the [a]out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high,

Jesus has purged our sins. He has taken us from unrighteousness to righteousness. The thing that is so awesome is that Jesus upholds, maintains, guides and propels the universe by His mighty word. God’s Word is the same yesterday, today and forever. When you receive the Lord Jesus as your Savior, all your sins are purged. Purged in the New Oxford American Dictionary means: rid (someone) of an unwanted feeling, memory, or condition. The purpose of purging is to get rid of something that holds you back. Purging helps you by propelling you forward. How? When you confess and repent of the unrighteous behavior, you purge out all sin. Sin holds you down or holds you back. Purging brings deliverance. Deliverance allows you to move forward without hindrances. Memories of your sins hold you back and this is called condemnation. Condemnation comes from satan and he will help you to recall your old sins which have already been forgiven. Say “NO, it’s under the blood of Jesus.” I will not look back because I am delivered. I am sanctified by the blood of the lamb. I am set free! God does not remember my sin anymore because His Word says so in Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

God wants you to be free from sin, that is why He sent Jesus. Jesus was sent to save human-kind. Let me re-iterate something… You have to call on the name of Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead to be saved. You can’t be saved without confessing Jesus as Lord. Romans 10:9-10 King James Version (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Jesus is Lord!

1 Corinthians 12:7

Amplified Bible (AMP)

But to each one is given the manifestation of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the Spirit] for good and profit.

MANIFESTA’TION, – The act of disclosing what is secret, unseen or obscure; discovery to the eye or to the understanding; the exhibition of any thing by clear evidence; display; as the manifestation of God’s power in creation, or of his benevolence in redemption. (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

PROF’IT  – To benefit; to advantage; applied to one’s self, to derive some pecuniary interest or some accession of good from any thing; as, to profit one’s self by a commercial undertaking, or by reading or instruction. To communicate good to; to advance the interest of. (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

As a believer we are to profit at everything we do and everything we hear. Why? Because the Bible says to each one is given the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. We should have evidence and spiritual illumination of the Spirit. It is not enough to just say you are filled or that you have received. You should manifest the Spirit of God on your life. We are to be a display for the world to see. People should be drawn to you. Why? Because you have the same Spirit as Jesus living in you. Because you will benefit others by being filled with the Spirit of God. How can I prove this to you… Scripture says in John 15:15 (KJV)Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.Jesus continually showed the Father by His actions and by the way He spoke. How? The Holy Spirit of course. The Holy Spirit moved on Jesus. Jesus showed God’s will on everything.

Jesus wanted to do good and profit everyone. You might say you disagree with me but I tell you if it weren’t so, then why did He heal the sick, cast out demons, make the leper whole, give sight to the blind, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, make the lame to walk, calm the seas and rebuke the wind? Jesus was showing us, to be filled with the Spirit of God is to manifest power, might and to do good and profit all. However, most us know that Jesus could not do many miracles in His own town because of a lack of belief in Him and a lack of honor. Jesus still did some miracles there but not many.

As a Christian I find myself wanting to do more for the Lord. I want everyone to receive but I have to be the one to make a constant effort to be ready in season and out of season. I have heard Pastors speak and I wonder where the manifestation is? Their special words won’t do the trick. It is going to take an act of God. God will move in any service. The Holy Spirit will move mightily if He is given the right to do so. We as people can stop the flow at anytime. We can stop the manifestation at anytime. Why? Because the character of the Holy Spirit is that He is a perfect gentleman. He will not usurp your will.

If you want to be profited and see the manifestation then you need to spend time with the Lord daily. If you want the great miracles to flow in your ministry then you have to spend time with the Father. If you want the people to profit then you need to start profiting yourself. People will follow those who have the blessing on them. People will follow where there is manifestation. Why? Because people like power! Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Be Blessed!

Matthew 21:19

King James Version (KJV)

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Jesus spoke to the fig tree and commanded it not to grow any more fruit forever. He had the ability to command. The same as Adam had in the garden of Eden. Jesus used the authority given to Him. Imagine if there would be more Christians doing this. We don’t have to see it to believe it will work. You need to believe it and you will see it. My eldest son was hurting in his ear yesterday and I started to pray and the Lord said command it. I said Lord, Thank You for reminding me. I did just as He said. I commanded my son’s ear to be opened up and to stop hurting. I commanded his ear to come into agreement with the Word of God. By His stripes you are healed is what I said next. I asked him, how do you feel now. His reply was ” It’s all gone, Dad, and I feel better.” We then gave God the Praise and Glory for my sons immediate healing! Amazing how God will always perform His Word!

Mark 3:1-5

King James Version (KJV)  And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

He spoke again and commanded the man to stretch forth his hand. He did not say do this and you will be healed. Jesus said stretch forth your hand. The impossible was done when we obey and we do not look on with the natural senses. Jesus did not pray that God would heal. He spoke with the authority that every believer is to have.

Luke 9:1-2

King James Version (KJV) Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

You don’t have to pray out devils, you command them to come out. You don’t have to pray for healing to work, you command people’s bodies to operate the way God designed them to work. You have the same power, dominion and authority that Jesus has. He lives in you right? Well then, why whine about the problem? Command it to cease and desist. You have the ability to do so because of the blood of Jesus on your life. Because you have the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. You can do this, because you, like Jesus, are a child of the Most High God. You are a representation of Jesus on the earth. Don’t worry, there will be Pharisees (religious, traditional people) watching you. They won’t like it, but they did not like Jesus doing it either. So step out and step up! Do something about the sick people in your home, church, neighborhood, supermarkets and jobs. Be the different church person. Dare to be different then other Christians and start commanding things to operate in Jesus Name.

I am excited after writing and reading this blog! I hope you are too, and I hope you don’t get all religious after you read this today. If you do, realize you are loved and forgiven. Father, forgive the ones that get offended with Your Word. Forgive them for they know not what they say and do.

If you really want to bless someone, command a blessing on them. God did in the book of Deuteronomy. He commanded a blessing on you that you would be a blessing to others.

Be Blessed!

Luke 10:19

King James Version (KJV)

19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I like what John Wesley had to say about Luke 10:19 I give you power – That is, I continue it to you: and nothing shall hurt you – Neither the power nor the subtilty of satan.

This is very vital for you today. Stop surrendering to the enemy and take your Authority over him. Jesus said I have given you Power. The Power that Jesus is talking about is Dunamis Power and Exousiazo. These Greek words means strength power, ability inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth. It also means to have power or authority, use power to be master of any one, exercise authority over one.

Jesus has given you the same authority that He received from the Father. So if you have the same authority that Jesus has why not exercise it more often. It’s like this… If you have trash in your house that smells really bad, what are you going to do with it? I am sure that you will take it out immediately! So why do you keep allowing satan and all his stinky works to hold you back? Why do you keep allowing him to attack you? Why not put him away and throw out that spiritual trash! Just say no! Take the Power that you have and use it against him. You have Authority so why not use it?

Stop being a weak Christian and do what the Word told us to do. You know Jesus is the Word. John 1:1-2 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. You don’t have to walk in fear anymore. You don’t have to surrender to anything that is not like Jesus. When a problem arises, the Word of God with Power and Might should arise to a higher standard than your problem. David was not afraid of Goliath. He rose to a higher standard. When David fought against the Lion and Bear, David arose to a higher standard. Jesus told you that He has given you power over satan and all that satan’s kingdom has. There is not a single thing the enemy can do IF you don’t allow him.  Dr. Kenneth Hagin says, you need to “keep the switch of faith turned on.” This is true! Your faith is being challenged. Your faith can not waver during an attack. This is where your faith in Jesus comes in. However, faith without works is dead. So put your faith out there and exercise your power in the Name of Jesus.

Stop crying a river and start declaring the blessings over your life. Stop crying about the problem and put God’s Word on it. Stop complaining and start exercising Power. You are His Beloved. His Banner of you is Love. You are the Righteousness in Christ Jesus. God loves you the same as He loves His Son Jesus. Be Blessed!

Scripture Study: Zechariah 10:5-12

John 14:7

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

During a fast it is imperative for the believer to come to a place of getting to know the Father. God is awesome! He wants and desires for you to get to know Him. Jesus demonstrated God the Father to you and I in many areas of His ministry. Jesus showed us how God multiplies, heals, blesses, restores, reconciles, has compassion, and many other ways. Jesus showed us how God speaks and reacts to circumstances. We really need to know the Father! Knowing God is not a hard thing to do. Knowing God requires relationship and spending time with Him in prayer and reading the Bible.

Relationship requires time. To get to know the Father we must give our time. We give our time to other relationships but to God we tend to be slothful, lethargic, and apathetic. God wants the best of your time! So when is the best time to get with God? I really like to get with God in the morning and also in the evening after my children have gone to sleep. The house becomes a little more quiet and I can focus more on just Him and His Word. Fasting is not the only time we get together with God, this is a daily thing.

Our first desire should be to get to know God the Father. Philippians 3:10 Amp10[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [[a]which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]. There are many out there that know how to quote scripture but there is a lack of knowing who God really is. Quoting scripture is great but if you lack the relationship with Him then all the quoting will be because you have a good memory and good brain knowledge. Brain knowledge will only get you so far, but with relational knowledge you will get further and you will be able to bring demonstration of God’s Holy Word. We as God’s children need to have true knowledge. True knowledge is knowing that you know that you know. Meaning you know God will never leave you or forsake you. Knowing that God is your Father and He will guide you and direct your paths. Knowing that you are His (son/daughter). Your relationship with God can be so strong that not even the devil can get you off track.

Let me leave you with a few scriptures of who God is. This is not an all-inclusive list but it will give you a start…

God is your Counselor Psalm 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

What does your heart look like right now? What is the aroma of your heart? What is the condition of your heart? What is your heart beat like? Does your heart beat violently or is it a soft harmonious beat? What is the heart beat of God?

These are questions for you to ponder as you go through the rest of your day today. These questions are meant to be looked at from the spiritual point of view and not the natural. I can say your natural physical heart may not look so good if your spiritual supernatural heart is bad. Your physical heart rests on what you say about yourself and others. Your heart, if it is not worked out properly will cease and die. If your heart beat is off beat, then it will be painful. What am I talking about? I am talking about the aroma of your heart. I am talking about what your heart looks like…

Everyday we go out into a world that is filled with bad things and good things. The people all around us are watching and evaluating the world they live in. People are constantly looking at other people and making mental evaluations. If people see something that is good or bad they will begin to imitate the thing they saw. Children are the best imitators we see around us. They imitate other children, parents, and even animals. So what are we demonstrating in our churches? What is the Christian person demonstrating in their homes, communities, schools and other public places? What are you demonstrating Church? What are you demonstrating Pastor? What are you demonstrating Youth Pastor? What are you demonstrating Nursery Worker? What are you demonstrating Children’s Pastor? What are you demonstrating Worship Leader? Christian that comes to church every Sunday… What are you demonstrating outside of the church?

I am not getting on to anyone. I am challenging your mind and your heart. I am asking these questions because as a Christian we are supposed to be different. Our heart can go cold if we are not setting our hearts on God. Our heart can stink badly if we don’t change the way we talk. Our heart beat can stop, if we take our focus away from God. We need to change our attitude if it does not line up with the Word of God. Attitude towards God has a lot to do with our attitude towards others. People we have to make a choice about our heart. If you let it wax (grow) old and your eyes to go dim and your ears to be dull in hearing then you will not be able to discern anything that the Lord wants to do in your life.

God wants your heart just for Him. He wants your eyes focused on Him. God wants your ears tuned in to Him. God wants to bless you and He wants you to be a blessing to others. If the aroma of your heart stinks then nobody will want to be by you. It’s like this… If you stood next to someone who really stinks, what would you do? Of course most people would walk away and try to get out of that stinky person’s area. Well, if you look at your heart and see if it stinks and you have not deodorized it with God’s Word then people will not want to be around you. The reason why we need to look at our heart is that people will evaluate you based on your heart condition. Your attitude will tell people of your heart condition and it will give off the aroma. What does your heart smell like?

To change your heart quickly… Start by praising the Lord and confessing His Word! Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. Psalm 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Psalm 36:10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Blessed to be a Blessing,
