Ezekiel 33:30-33

King James Version (KJV)

30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord.

31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

With the way everything is going in our world today, the believer needs to stop playing church. As I have said before it is time to stop playing. People have become so used to the feel good sermon that Pastors are more inclined to tickle the people’s ears and hearts. Church! God is not playing! The heart of the matter is that God is doing great things in the Earth and many believers are missing it. Why? Because they want to hear what they want to hear.

Believers it’s time to stop playing and only hearing what you want to hear. Covetousness can and will destroy a person’s heart. I want the people to be encouraged! However not at the cost of going to hell. I want people to be blessed but not at the cost of losing their soul. I want people to succeed but not at the stake of earning the worlds way.

God is pouring out in our Nation and in the World. He is looking for Worshipers to arise. The heart of truth is that the believer needs to step up and step out. The believer needs to listen and obey God. The believer needs to not talk truth but live it.

What is your part? Stop playing church, stop acting, start being real, step up to what you believe, make Jesus known in your family and in your community. Don’t just be a hearer of the Word, be a doer. In the book of James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Many say they are doing something but in reality they are just talk. Be a doer, not just a hearer otherwise you will deceive yourself.

God is looking for doers and ones who will push ahead. You might mess up but if you do, don’t let it keep you down. Stay focused on Him! Keep your face forward and don’t look back. God is speaking are you listening?

Luke 6:17-19

Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 And Jesus came down with them and took His stand on a level spot, with a great crowd of His disciples and a vast throng of people from all over Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to listen to Him and to be cured of their diseases—

18 Even those who were disturbed and troubled with unclean spirits, and they were being healed [also].

19 And all the multitude were seeking to touch Him, for healing power was all the while going forth from Him and curing them all [[a]saving them from severe illnesses or calamities].

What causes faith to come, to grow and to work? Hearing! But, not just hearing anything, hearing the Word of God (Bible). Romans 10:17 (AMP) So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself). We can see in these verses that the people came to hear Jesus speak and to be cured of their diseases. Many have claimed that Jesus did not heal them all and in this verse it is evident that He did. God’s will is to heal and to make whole.

For healing to come it is going to take your faith. My faith can cause others to be healed but they must hold on to it. Jesus is my healer and He is your healer. For healing to take place you will need to get your faith going. Jesus preached to the crowd and they were healed. Jesus preached and even the demons left the people. Preaching is necessary for your faith to grow and for you to expect. Without reading the Word of God and hear the preaching you can’t become expectant. The Word of God is seed and once it gets into you, you become pregnant. When you become pregnant you will begin to expect. After you become expectant you stand and keep standing until the hour of birth takes place.

Birth took place immediately for these people who were from Judea, Jerusalem, Tyre, and Sidon. They received the words that Jesus spoke and it healed them all. Imagine if the body of Christ would just understand that the same faith to receive Jesus as Lord is the same for healing. Faith is distributed to everyone the same. God’s Word says that He has given everyone The Measure of Faith. Romans 12:3 King James Version (KJV)For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Instead of complaining the Pastor is preaching too long, get into the message and receive. Instead of having a committee to tell the Pastor how to preach, get into the message and receive. Instead of allowing your stomach to dictate when your going to eat, get into the message and receive. Instead of looking at your watch and wondering when the Pastor will shut up, get into the message and receive. The message the Pastor brings to the pulpit has been studied, prayed about and looked at multiple times. However, whenever he or she stands at the pulpit they are the messenger of God that comes to encourage your faith and for you to receive all that you need. Don’t be like the religious leaders of Jesus’ time. They received nothing!

1 Corinthians 14:8

King James Version (KJV)

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Think about this for a moment. If the trumpet (shofar) gives an uncertain sound, how will the people know to prepare themselves for the battle? I believe this message is for everyone but especially for the Pastors. Why? Because Pastors are the ones who are supposed to be the watchmen on the wall. They are the ones who are supposed to see the onslaught of an attack. We as shepherds have a responsibility to look over the entire land. We are supposed to be watching from a high point. If we see an attack then we need to properly sound the alarm.

There is great darkness around and yet many Shepherds are standing by preaching their weak sermons and man’s ideology. They are sitting and watching, yet not with eyes wide open, rather with eyes that are dim and squinted. Is there no one to sound the proper alarm? Is there anyone who will take a stand? Is there anyone on the watchman’s wall. Oh yes, there are some who are watching and some who have sounded the alarm yet there is no response from the people. Why? Because of the weak preaching and watering down of God’s Word. Our calling is not to water down the Word of God but to preach it with humility and rightness. People, God needs you all! He wants you to stand and take charge. He wants you to listen to the proper alarm and to make ready yourself.

This same alarm is true when it comes to receiving from the Lord. Joel 2:1 (KJV) Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

The next couple of verses are important: Joel 2:2-3 (AMP) A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and of thick mists and darkness, like the morning dawn spread upon the mountains; so there comes a [heathen, hostile] people numerous and mighty, the like of which has never been before and shall not be again even to the years of many generations.A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yes, and none has escaped [the ravages of the devouring hordes].

Are you prepared Pastors? Are you prepared people? This is not about hellfire and brimstone this is about truth and making known what is taking place around the world. Don’t settle for second best. Walk by faith and not by sight. Preach/Teach God’s Word with intensity! Preach/Teach the truth and the people of the congregation will follow. Pastors keep the Word of God before your eyes daily and meditate on His Word. Be truthful from the pulpit. Don’t preach to get the Amens. Preach to make God known as who He really is. The Word of God says that God IS NOT the author of confusion. God desires for His people to be blessed and prosperous in everything! Church I love you and I am expecting the very best. An outpouring is coming and the alarm will sound! Will you be prepared and will you be ready?

1 Corinthians 12:5-6

King James Version (KJV)

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

God’s plan and desire is for all of us to work together. Those who are denominational and non-denominational. God did not design denominations. I know this is going to make someone offended. I will not apologize for one reason. You do not see denominations in the Word of God. Man’s way to keep order and design. The problem with this is that God’s Word does not need man to create order and design. God’s Word has order and design!

The biggest problems with denominations is that it causes separation. Denominations are what keep Christians apart from one another. Some may talk in other tongues and some may worship without instruments… Who cares! Jesus is not coming back for a denomination. He is coming back for His Church. If you have received Jesus then you are part of the Church. You’re part of a family.

I have preached in all types of denominational churches yet there is definitely one thing we all have in common. Jesus!  If we all started to work together how powerful would the Church be? If we were to all get along despite the denominational lines we could see a greater revival. We would see the USA changed. We would see our churches full every mid-week service and every Sunday service. There are differences in administrations but the Lord is the same. We can also have diverse operations but there is only one God who works in us all.

Look to fellowship with people outside of your denomination and expect to be encouraged and challenged. Expect to work together and see your community changed. If the denominations would work together instead of fighting we could make a change in our government, schools, communities and churches. If our church people would see us working with other denominations then they would happily work with us. As the king is so will the kingdom be. Let’s be kingdom minded and seek people like God sought you and I. Be different from the world. The world knows how to separate but the Church should know how to be united.

Genesis 4:5

King James Version (KJV)

5But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

God did not respect Cain’s offering. Why? Because Cain didn’t offer the animal sacrifice. While he did give of his ground, he did not give what God required. Cain could have sold his fruit and vegetables to Abel to receive an unblemished lamb. These boys knew what to do because they watched their father for years. Adam knew how to sacrifice to the Lord. Adam knew how to give his very best. I am positive he taught his family how to honor the Lord with their increase. I believe Adam was a great dad. Why? Because he was made in the similitude (likeness) of God.

Today the church is lacking in the proper Tithes and Offerings. Why? Because Fathers and Mothers are not teaching their children what it means to be a blessing. The body of Christ is lacking today because the lack of teaching from the pulpit. Some Pastors are lacking in the teaching of tithes and offerings because it makes them feel as if they’re trying to dig into people’s wallets. Well Pastors, you don’t have to feel that way ever again. Congregates you don’t have to feel that way either. The Pastors are not asking for the tithes and offerings, God is. God is the one who ordained Tithes and Offerings. We can see this in Malachi chapter 3. You can also find out why it is important to teach on Tithes and Offerings in the New Testament in Hebrews 7. God has made it clear that He wants the first of your increase. You are also to bring an offering.

If you are not doing your part where the Word is concerned you will be able to see why God has not blessed you with an overflow. Many churches are lacking and dying because of the lack of teaching tithes and offerings. The people perish for a lack of knowledge. Why? Because the people are not being taught what the Bible says. This is true where Fatherhood is concerned. Men need to teach their children to honor the Lord and honor His house. Pastors are like Fathers. Pastors need to teach the people how to offer a correct tithe and offering.

I don’t know about you, but I refuse to be a fake Pastor. I refuse to let the people escape from the Word of God. I refuse to give in and shut up. I will continue to teach on Tithes and Offerings in our church. I will continue to show the people and not just teach them. I will continue to offer God the correct Tithe and Offering. I don’t want God to be disrespected. I will pay what is due and offer freely with a cheerful heart. God wants my best in money and everything else. I will cheerfully do this because it will cause the blessing to come and overtake me.

This Sunday I challenge all who read this to start tithing and bring offerings. I challenge you to test God to see if He will open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing. The tithe is ten percent of the gross amount on your check. The offering is above the tithe and that is to be freely and cheerfully given. You can’t know if you’re not taught and you can’t grow if you’re not challenged. I love you all and I want the blessing to overtake you!

Isaiah 41:10

King James Version (KJV)

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Dismayed is defined as gaze in anxiety. You don’t need to look into any form of fear. Fear is not of the Lord. For God has not given you bondage once again to fear. You don’t have to look into your situation and try to work on it by using fear. Look at any situation you may have and then turn it over to the Lord. God told Joshua the same thing in Joshua 1:9. He told him… “be of good courage and be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed.” The real key to not being dismayed is doing what the Lord told Joshua to do in verses 7 and 8. He told him to meditate on the Word of God day and night. He told him not to let it depart from his eyes. Many that get dismayed are usually subject to not having read much Word and have not been in prayer. Reading the Word of God and praying are the essentials to knowing the Lord. The Lord works with you not against you.

As I continue to Pastor others I have watched many people fall because they become dismayed. They are constantly looking at the problem with anxiety and they begin walking with fear instead of turning it over to the Lord. It’s not that easy to be dismayed. It’s what you set your eyes (gaze) upon. Stop looking at the situation and how you think you can fix it. Stop seeking the author of confusion and start seeking the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Fear is perverted faith. Fear is the polar opposite of faith. It works the same as faith. It’s just the complete opposite. Faith in fear will bring the anxiety and torment.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus! Look to Him! Seek Him with all your heart! Know Him! Love Him! Believe on Him! Let NO FEAR come to mind and keep your gaze upon the perfect law of LIBERTY! Your confession of faith is… Because of Isaiah 41:10 I will not be dismayed because God is for me. He will strengthen me and help me. He will uphold me with His right hand of righteousness. I will not gaze upon my past. I will not gaze upon my problems. My God (El Shaddai) is on the Job. No one can take care of me like Him. My God is for me! Who can be against me? Praise the Lord! I am at liberty! Amen!

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

What does your heart look like right now? What is the aroma of your heart? What is the condition of your heart? What is your heart beat like? Does your heart beat violently or is it a soft harmonious beat? What is the heart beat of God?

These are questions for you to ponder as you go through the rest of your day today. These questions are meant to be looked at from the spiritual point of view and not the natural. I can say your natural physical heart may not look so good if your spiritual supernatural heart is bad. Your physical heart rests on what you say about yourself and others. Your heart, if it is not worked out properly will cease and die. If your heart beat is off beat, then it will be painful. What am I talking about? I am talking about the aroma of your heart. I am talking about what your heart looks like…

Everyday we go out into a world that is filled with bad things and good things. The people all around us are watching and evaluating the world they live in. People are constantly looking at other people and making mental evaluations. If people see something that is good or bad they will begin to imitate the thing they saw. Children are the best imitators we see around us. They imitate other children, parents, and even animals. So what are we demonstrating in our churches? What is the Christian person demonstrating in their homes, communities, schools and other public places? What are you demonstrating Church? What are you demonstrating Pastor? What are you demonstrating Youth Pastor? What are you demonstrating Nursery Worker? What are you demonstrating Children’s Pastor? What are you demonstrating Worship Leader? Christian that comes to church every Sunday… What are you demonstrating outside of the church?

I am not getting on to anyone. I am challenging your mind and your heart. I am asking these questions because as a Christian we are supposed to be different. Our heart can go cold if we are not setting our hearts on God. Our heart can stink badly if we don’t change the way we talk. Our heart beat can stop, if we take our focus away from God. We need to change our attitude if it does not line up with the Word of God. Attitude towards God has a lot to do with our attitude towards others. People we have to make a choice about our heart. If you let it wax (grow) old and your eyes to go dim and your ears to be dull in hearing then you will not be able to discern anything that the Lord wants to do in your life.

God wants your heart just for Him. He wants your eyes focused on Him. God wants your ears tuned in to Him. God wants to bless you and He wants you to be a blessing to others. If the aroma of your heart stinks then nobody will want to be by you. It’s like this… If you stood next to someone who really stinks, what would you do? Of course most people would walk away and try to get out of that stinky person’s area. Well, if you look at your heart and see if it stinks and you have not deodorized it with God’s Word then people will not want to be around you. The reason why we need to look at our heart is that people will evaluate you based on your heart condition. Your attitude will tell people of your heart condition and it will give off the aroma. What does your heart smell like?

To change your heart quickly… Start by praising the Lord and confessing His Word! Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. Psalm 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Psalm 36:10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Blessed to be a Blessing,
