Matthew 7:24 (King James Version)

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Are you expecting a break-through? Are you ready for the Lord to open the doors you need opened? Are you waiting with great anticipation to see what God will do? If you are, that is great. If you are not, then get yourself prepared. God is wanting to bless His people. God is looking for people who are hungry for His Word and expectant.

As I was running this afternoon the Lord put these three words into my heart for the Church. Rooted, Grounded, and Stable. God wants us to get ourselves rooted, grounded and stable on His Word. He doesn’t want us to speak contrary to His Word. We need to get ourselves so rooted, and grounded in the love of God, that nothing will be able to separate us from Him. When we are stable in God’s Word it means that we are ready no matter what comes our way. Why? Because our house is built upon the true Rock. This Rock is the Lord our God.

If you don’t sink your roots down deep, you will find yourself shifting and moving. Roots that are grounded in the love of God will not move no matter the situation. Keep speaking God’s Word and keep holding on to what Jesus said. Like the scripture says he who hears these sayings of Mine and does them will be like a wise man which built his house upon a rock.

When you finish this fast I would like you to consider something… Instead of going back to your old eating habits, ask God what He wants you to do. Why would I say this to you? I said this to you because for about 3 weeks you let go of your old ways of doing things. For about a month you have found yourself healthier than you have ever been before. You have rooted and grounded yourself and now you are becoming stable. It’s when we add back those old ways of doing things that we become unstable again.

Many people have felt closer to God than they have ever been before. Giving up food is not easy and no one is trying to tell you not to eat. I am saying, think about how much food means to you and how much God means to you. You didn’t do this fast just to lose weight. You didn’t do this so people can see you with a sad countenance. You did this to be more hungry for God and His Word. You did this to get closer to God.

Are you feeling more stable now? I know I am! I know I am ready and able to receive all my breakthrough’s. I know God has something for you and I know He has something for me. Let us make sure that as we get closer to the end of this fast that we continue to thank the Lord for all He is and all He will do in us. 2011 is a year to be Unified to touch Glory. Stay expectant, be rooted, get grounded in your Bible, and get yourself stable in the Word of God that nothing will be able to shake you. You are blessed and highly favored of the Lord!
